Professional Membership Terms
These terms explain the current founding membership, profile, billing, and participation rules for professionals and firms using Smarter Justice.
1. Platform membership
Smarter Justice provides professional profiles, firm-account tools, membership administration, and developing marketplace services. Smarter Justice is not a law firm, accounting firm, tax firm, or professional employer and does not direct a member’s independent professional judgment.
2. Founding pricing and renewal
The current founding individual price is $15 per month or $150 per year. Firm pricing is calculated per covered professional seat, with any displayed volume discount applied at checkout. This is recurring membership billing. Unless canceled, a paid membership renews for the selected monthly or annual period at the price shown before payment. Smarter Justice will disclose material pricing changes before they apply to a future renewal.
3. Cancellation and refunds
A member may request cancellation before the next renewal. Cancellation ordinarily stops future renewal and does not erase accurate historical records or an otherwise lawful public profile. Fees already charged are generally nonrefundable except where required by law, where Smarter Justice confirms a billing error, or where a written offer states otherwise.
4. No guaranteed business
Membership does not guarantee clients, contacts, appointments, revenue, ranking, exclusivity, favorable reviews, or outcomes. Payment does not influence substantive AI guidance, credential verification, neutral eligibility, professional-quality claims, or whether professional help is recommended to a user.
5. Profiles and verification
Public information may be listed before a profile is claimed. Claiming a profile requires identity and authority review. Members must provide accurate information, promptly correct material changes, and maintain every license, registration, certification, authorization, insurance requirement, and professional obligation applicable to their services.
6. Consultation and service eligibility
Paid membership is only one requirement. Smarter Justice may require identity verification, current credentials, appropriate jurisdiction, accepted participation terms, conflict procedures, approved services, availability, and other compliance checks before a member may receive appointment or service opportunities.
7. Independent engagements
Viewing a profile, requesting an appointment, or paying Smarter Justice does not by itself create an attorney-client, accountant-client, tax-client, or other professional relationship. The professional is responsible for conflicts, engagement terms, scope, fees, trust-account duties, confidentiality, competence, supervision, and all other professional obligations.
8. Firm accounts and seats
A firm administrator may manage covered seats and firm information, but each professional remains responsible for individual credentials and professional conduct. Smarter Justice may pause participation for seats that are unpaid, unverified, inactive, or not lawfully authorized for the offered service.
9. Sponsored visibility
Any paid promotional placement must be clearly labeled. Sponsorship does not establish verification, quality, endorsement, or the best fit for a particular user.
10. Suspension or removal
Smarter Justice may pause profile control, participation, services, or membership for nonpayment, inaccurate information, credential concerns, misuse, complaints, security concerns, legal or ethical risk, or violation of these terms. Accurate public information may remain visible with an appropriate status label where lawful.
11. Changes and contact
These terms may be updated as the professional network develops. Material changes will be presented through the platform or account contact information. Questions or cancellation requests may be sent through the Smarter Justice contact page.
Effective July 20, 2026. These platform terms do not replace the professional’s own engagement agreement with a client.
